Patient Analytics and Capabilities
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
Collaborate with brand and medical leads to develop and implement patient analytics strategies to support the commercial objectives of the oncology business unit.
Analyze patient data to uncover insights into patient journeys, patient segmentation, treatment patterns, and outcomes, supporting commercial strategy and execution.
Establish advanced patient level data analytics such as care gap and subnational patient funnels, drivers and barriers of treatment progression, KOL identification through referrals
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Integrate and analyze diverse data sources, including real-world data, SP data, SD data etc. to generate comprehensive patient insights.
Evaluate newer patient data sources for analytics and business viability.
Develop and maintain business rules for processing raw patient-level data (such as claims and EMR), leveraging a deep understanding of data nuances, business acumen, and market knowledge to enable comprehensive analysis.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics such as patient shares (new and total), DoT, Adherence, source of business, segmentation metrics, campaign effectiveness etc.
Monitor and report on the performance of KPIs at various levels including national, subnational, payer channel type, etc., providing recommendations for improvement.
Drive the development of analytical capabilities and tools to enhance patient insights and support commercial decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, medical affairs, and other teams, to align patient analytics with commercial strategies.
Communicate complex patient insights in a clear and actionable manner to senior leadership and other stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Participate in innovation in patient analytics by exploring new methodologies, technologies, and data sources.

CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics, patient insights, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on oncology.
Strong expertise in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Strong understanding of commercial business and industry standard patient level data sources (Claims, EMR, lab etc.) and other data sources such as sales data, shipment data etc.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced analytics platforms.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex patient insights to non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry

Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$153,600.00 - $241,340.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
