Health Economics and Outcomes Research (2 years)
UIC and Takeda jointly offer 2 two-year fellowships in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). Fellows typically spend the first year primarily at UIC and the second year primarily at Takeda in Lexington, MA. Fellows are expected to take coursework, which may be applied towards a MS or PhD degree. Knowledge and experience is gained evaluating economic, humanistic, and clinical outcomes of drug therapy. Presentation and publication of research in peer-reviewed venues is expected. The fellowships are designed to facilitate careers in academia, consulting, and pharmaceutical industry.
