About the role:
The Director, Brand Insights and Analytics leads a team responsible for performing complex data research to support business operations. You will focus on creating data mining architectures, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large datasets. Join Takeda as a Brand Insights and Analytics Director where you will be the primary internal and external contact for contracts and operations. As a member of the Global Oncology Team, you will report to the Head of Insights & Analytics for US Oncology.
How you will contribute:
Lead the development of advanced analytics and insights strategies to increase data-driven decision-making and improve growth within Takeda’s oncology team, aligning with broader organizational goals and priorities.
Deliver applicable insights through analytics frameworks, above-market analyses, and standardized methodologies to enhance launch excellence, in-market performance, and commercial strategies.
Use data science principles, decision sciences methods, and advanced analytics tools to address complex challenges and improve marketing experiences while encouraging innovation and competitive differentiation.
Implement advanced analytics strategies, overseeing predictive modeling, targeting, segmentation, promotional effectiveness, and resource optimization to support marketing and commercial goals.
Scope, direct, and deliver impactful analytics projects, including market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, brand analytics, and field analytics, ensuring understanding of team goals.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Business, Statistics, economics, engineering), Master’s or PhD preferred
Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in insights, or strategic planning roles within the Pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Experience launching multiple brands from an insights perspective, ability to translate complex data insights into relevant commercial strategies
Experience with commercial business and industry standard data sources – sales data, patient level data, managed care data
Experience using data tools (e.g., Dataiku, R, Python, SQL) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced analytics platforms.

Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$174,500.00 - $274,230.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
