About the Role
The Director, Evidence Generation and Dissemination Lead, International Business Unit (IBU)reportstothe Head of Medical Excellence and Operations anddefineshow evidence generation and data dissemination needs areidentified, prioritized, andtranslated into an IBU perspectiveacrosstherapeutic areas.This is an individual contributorrolewithno direct reports.
The role provides strategic leadership across the IBU by connecting local country needs, cross-functional perspectives, and global evidence generation processes to ensure that IBU priorities are clearly represented in planning and decision-making, including IEGP.
The rolesetsthestrategic direction forgovernance,prioritization, andstructured evidence input across the IBU, while linkingIBUneedswith the global evidence generation and publication plan.
How you will contribute:
Design and own the IBU prioritization framework for evidence generation needs across therapeutic areas
Define and lead the IBU governance model to systematically collect and structure evidence generation input from local country teams and Therapeutic Area Leads
Review,consolidate, and translate evidence gaps from local country teams and Therapeutic Area Leads into a clear IBU prioritization across therapeutic areas
Shape and represent the IBU perspective in the global evidence generation and publication plan, and drive alignment with global evidence generation and data dissemination teams
Identifycross-market synergies andeliminateduplication in evidence generation and dissemination activities
Expand the scope into relevant data-generating initiatives, including patient programs and digital health
Lead the IBU perspective on data dissemination priorities and ensure these are reflected in planning and execution
Equip local country teams to provide structured input and evidence plans through clear guidance, practical tools, and collaboration
Experience and Qualifications
A university degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, public health, or a related field
8+ years of experience in evidence generation, medical affairs, clinical research, or a related area
Strong understanding of how evidence strategies are shaped, prioritized, and translated into plans across markets
Good understanding of, or hands-on experience with, health technology assessment processes
Experienceoperatingin regional and global teams within a matrix environment
Experience leading evidencegapassessment, publication planning, or data dissemination planning
Familiarity with data-generating initiatives such as patient support programs or digital health initiatives
Experience using digital tools and AI-enabled approaches to support structured planning, stakeholder input, and collaboration
