Job Description

PURPOSE

Support PMA Lead to develop product access strategy, solutions for business, value dossier, value messages, policy research and pricing analysis to facilitate market access of Takeda existing products, new launches and pipeline products. The position needs to be able to generate insight and solution for market access strategy of specific products, manage projects, and collaborate with internal functions, vendors and external experts

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and manage projects of product value dossier, value proposition, communication tools, access tactics and submission materials for reimbursement of new launches
  • Lead market research projects or various consulting projects on pricing and access strategy
  • Analyze competitive pricing landscape to support new products pricing strategies at launch as well as reimbursement phases
  • Support PMA Lead to develop market access plan or initiatives at central and local level
  • Working with internal and external collaborators, oversee design and execution of HEOR and HTA projects to ensure alignment with pre-defined product market access strategy
  • When necessary, build long-term relationship with key stakeholders and authorities (including HTA experts) to gain insight and drive access initiatives
  • Assembles and leads cross-functional teams across Access Excellence, Medical, BU, RA and etc to design and execution projects

Qualifications & Skills:

Level of Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacoeconomics, Healthcare, Public Health. Graduate degree a plus

Working Experience in Relevant Field

  • 5+ years’ experience with pharmaceutical market access and/or pricing. Marketing and healthcare consulting experience also considered
  • HEOR- or HTA-related experience highly desirable. Preferably work experience in HTA agencies

Professional Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong analytical skills. Price analysis and modeling experience a plus
  • Proven project management and execution capabilities
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage across multiple functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both Chinese and English
