About the role:

The Controlling, Senior Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining control of the organization's financial operations, resources, and assets. This role provides data and reports summarizing the company's financial position to aid in management decision-making and may make recommendations to senior management. The position also involves developing and implementing strategies that have a mid- to long-term impact on business results. 

How You Will Contribute:  

  • Manage and maintain control of the organization's financial operations, resources, and assets.  

  • Provide data and reports summarizing the company's financial position to aid in management decision-making.  

  • Develop and implement financial policies to enhance organizational financial practices.  

  • Lead multiple teams of lower-level executives, directors, senior managers, and managers in support of controlling priorities.  

  • Engage effectively with external stakeholders on major financial matters.  

  • Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.  

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

  • Expert in financial reporting, capable of ensuring accuracy and compliance in complex scenarios.  

  • Advanced skills in cost management, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures effectively.  

  • Applies advanced budgeting techniques in highly complex situations, advising others and anticipating future budgeting requirements.  

  • Leads forecasting activities, providing accurate projections and strategic insights.  

  • Develops and implements financial policies that strengthen organizational financial practices.  

  • Engages effectively with external stakeholders on major financial matters.  

  • Mentors junior staff and supports a culture of learning and professional development.  

  • Provides strategic insights to support decision-making at senior management level.  

  • Ensures compliance with financial regulations and standards across complex financial activities.  

  • Operates independently while managing complex financial tasks and projects.  

  • Demonstrates leadership in financial operations by guiding teams, projects, and cross-functional initiatives.  

  • Drives innovation in financial processes, contributing to the improvement of accounting and controlling systems. 


As an expert professional within the organization, this role develops innovative solutions to complex problems aligned with organizational objectives. The work involves addressing intricate issues that require in-depth analysis and judgment. The role also engages with key contacts outside its immediate area of expertise and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Operating with considerable autonomy, this position serves as a consultant to management and as an external spokesperson on major matters, often leading functional teams or projects. The role also supports the development of junior staff through training and mentoring.
