Job Description
Objective / Purpose:
The Supply Chain Management, Associate Director is responsible for managing and optimizing various aspects of the supply chain process. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance logistics, inventory planning, and overall supply chain efficiency, contributing to Takeda's mission of delivering better health to people.
How you will contribute:
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain processes and standards
- Lead and manage functional teams or projects to optimize supply chain operations
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship in supply chain analysis, procurement, and continuous improvement
- Oversee inventory planning and cargo planning to support business goals
- Communicate with leadership and stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with organizational objectives
- Drive innovations and improvements in supply chain processes
- Conduct briefings and technical meetings with internal and external stakeholders

- Recognized as a subject matter expert in supply chain analysis, providing strategic insights and coaching others.
- Expert in strategic procurement decisions, recognized for leadership and ability to coach others.

- Proficient in SAP Applications, innovates within the system, and coaches others in its use.
- Negotiation expert, provides strategic guidance on high-stakes negotiations and is sought after for expertise.
- Expert in Material Requirements Planning, leads strategic initiatives in inventory management and coaches others.
- Recognized for program management skills, capable of supervising others and leading major projects.
- Expert in critical thinking, provides strategic insights and supervises analytical methods application.
- Possesses expert-level writing skills, sets standards and coaches others in content creation.
- Thought leader in understanding organizational and market intricacies, mentors others in strategic business decisions.

Lexington, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$154,400.00 - $242,550.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
