About the role:
We are looking for a hand on Technology Architect who can shape enterprise application architecture and lead delivery at scale.
This role requires deep AWS expertise and strong hands-on experience designing highly available, resilient, and observable systems.
The ideal candidate also understands AI-driven application development lifecycle practices and can guide multiple globally distributed teams to deliver complex, cross-functional programs.
How you will contribute:
- Lead application delivery initiatives across multiple engineering teams to successfully execute complex, large-scale modernization programs.
- Design cloud-native application architectures that leverage AWS services, microservices patterns, and event-driven approaches to support business and technology objectives.
- Drive end-to-end solution implementation by translating business requirements into scalable architecture designs and actionable delivery roadmaps.
- Embed SRE and reliability-by-design practices, including availability, resilience, performance, capacity, observability, and service-level objectives.
- Establish and measure Product Health across reliability, performance, security, technology lifecycle, capacity, incidents, and operational risks.
- Provide technical leadership during major production incidents, driving diagnosis, recovery, root-cause analysis, and corrective engineering actions.
- Convert Product Health trends, incidents, technical debt, and reliability risks into prioritized engineering improvements and backlog.
- Drive AI-assisted engineering across architecture, development, testing, automation, observability, troubleshooting, and engineering productivity.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in application architecture, software engineering, and large-scale technology delivery programs.
- Strong expertise designing and delivering cloud-native applications on AWS, including microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building and implementing enterprise applications using modern software engineering practices and programming languages such as C#, Python, TypeScript/Node.js, and SQL.
- Experience applying domain-driven design principles, bounded contexts, and domain-centric service decomposition in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery initiatives and coordinate multiple cross-functional engineering teams within globally distributed organizations.
- Experience applying AI-assisted software development practices, including design, development, testing, quality automation, and engineering productivity tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into practical architecture and delivery roadmaps.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification

Work Location: Mexico City – Santa Fe.
Hybrid model with a minimum in-office requirement of at least 10 (ten) days per month.
