OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

As the PromoMats Engineer for the Content MLR Platform (Veeva Vault PromoMats), you will be responsible for providing advanced technical and operational support to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Takeda’s Veeva Vault PromoMats environments. You will be responsible for the ongoing support of Takeda’s Content MLR platform and developments, enablement and enhancement. This role is expected to ensure the smooth operation of IT services, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

In this role, you will partner closely with users or stakeholders for any tickets they raise for the PromoMats environments and resolve them within the stipulated time, understand any new enhancement requests from the users and work in close collaboration with internal and external platform development teams. You will be actively involved in the day-to-day platform operations, minor development, configuration changes and deployment and ensure alignment across adjacent Content Innovation platforms and integrations.

Overall, you will be part of Takeda’s Data and Digital mission by enabling the adoption and evolution of Veeva Vault PromoMats capabilities that align with business needs, best practices, and enterprise architecture principles.

Your activities would include:

• Active involvement in day-to-day operation of Veeva Vault PromoMats environments, ensuring platform stability, reliability, security, and compliance
• Diagnosis and resolution of complex technical issues, incidents and service requests through discussions with users and coordination with internal support and operations groups
• Responding to user requests and problems associated with Veeva Vault PromoMats
• Providing real-time end user support, including problem identification and training
• Analyzing new platform features, tools, and system integrations in line with business demand
• Being a part of innovation and continuous improvement and optimisation of Veeva Vault PromoMats capabilities
• Enabling stakeholders (both within and outside of Takeda) for Veeva Vault PromoMats to effectively consume Takeda’s global Content MLR capabilities
• Managing small enhancements and processes independently with limited supervision

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborating with users and stakeholders of Veeva Vault PromoMats to understand their issues, queries and resolve the issues, design solutions aligned to business needs
• Prioritizing tasks and manages time efficiently with minimal guidance
• Providing technical support for Content MLR capabilities enabled through Veeva Vault PromoMats
• Collaborating with the existing team to develop the enhancements across Veeva Vault PromoMats platform and environment
• Being a part of the agile delivery team to deliver roadmap in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Designing and documenting proposed solutions, new feature enablement in alignment with business demand
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in partnership with IT, business, and other key stakeholders
• Handling user onboarding, user access and permissions structures across Veeva Vault PromoMats environments
• Analyzing and interpreting technical data to aid in decision-making and problem resolution

As a PromoMats Engineer, you're adept at solving a range of moderate scope and complex problems, occasionally referring to policies and practices for guidance. Your work involves analyzing situations and data, exercising judgment within established procedures, and fostering productive relationships internally and externally. You should possess solid knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats and contribute to departmental projects and goals, often engaging in frequent internal and external interactions.

OTHER DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

• Deep knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats and related Veeva products
• Strong knowledge of Digital Asset Management platforms, content authoring solutions, and content distribution systems (e.g., Aprimo, Shaman, Salesforce CRM / Marketing Cloud) strongly preferred
• Strong business acumen across the end-to-end content lifecycle within Veeva Vault PromoMats
• Proficient in defining and documenting clear, structured business requirements, root cause analysis of the issue and the mitigations of it in the ticketing tool and also during discussions with stakeholders
• Clear and effective communication in familiar contexts and willingness to handle more complex interactions
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels for their issue resolution
• Strong ability to work within a team supporting users across the globe
• Accountability for day-to-day work related to the design, development, and implementation of innovative content solutions across Takeda globally
• Managing and resolving issues using tracking systems with increasing independence
• Configuring and managing environment changes with minimal supervision

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience with Veeva Vault, including enterprise-scale implementation and operation of Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions in a regulated environment
• Veeva Vault Platform certification
• Deep, hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats
• Experience working in the Life Sciences industry strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of enterprise end-to-end content lifecycle processes in Veeva Vault PromoMats from creation through review, approval, and activation
• Strong “soft skills” and English communication skills, with the ability to make users understand and align on issue resolutions
• Experience working with teams in international, multi-country, and multi-cultural environments
• Experience in user and stakeholder management
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment strongly preferred.
• GenAI knowledge or practical experience recommended.
