About the role: 

As a Developer in the Customer Data Platform (CDP/Data 360) space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, You will design, configure, and support scalable Salesforce Data Cloud solutions that enable donor and customer analytics, segmentation, and activation across enterprise platforms .

This role is suited for a hands‑on developer/consultant with 4–6 years of experience working in data platforms, Salesforce ecosystems, and Agile delivery models. You will collaborate closely with architects, senior developers, product owners, QA, and business stakeholders, and contribute to stable, compliant, and high‑quality CDP implementations in a regulated environment.

This role directly contributes to PDT’s ability to harness enterprise data effectively, enhance decision-making, enable personalization, and strengthen competitive advantage in an ever-changing business/technological landscape This position will align to the External Experience chapter of the ICC and report to the PDT Delivery Lead for strategic direction as well as day-to-day management.

How you will contribute:

  • Configure and develop Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities including data streams, ingestion frameworks, data transformations, and Calculated Insights.
  • Implement and maintain identity resolution rules, unified profiles, and audience segmentation.
  • Design and support data models aligned to donor and customer business use cases.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for segmentation, analytics, and data validation.
  • Support downstream activation to Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other connected systems.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business teams to validate segmentation logic for email, SMS, and digital campaigns.
  • Execute unit testing and UAT validation, support defect triage, and ensure readiness for production deployment.
  • Monitor Data Cloud pipelines, refresh schedules, and Identity Resolution runs; assist in failure analysis and RCA documentation.
  • Maintain technical documentation including data mappings, configuration details, and operational procedures.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).

Required Technical Skills

  • Practical experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP / Data 360) concepts and configurations.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational data models.
  • Experience with:
    • Data ingestion and mapping
    • Identity resolution and segmentation
    • Calculated Insights and audience validation
  • Working understanding of APIs and data integrations.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud (segmentation, activation, or journey dependencies preferred).
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and documentation tools.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of total work experience in data engineering, CRM, or enterprise data platform roles.
  • 1.5+ years experience in Salesforce Data360(Data Cloud)
  • Hands‑on experience with SQL‑based data analysis.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a regulated enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret and work with data (e.g., dashboards, reports, data quality concepts) and understanding of AI/ML fundamentals to adapt to emerging technology trends, identify opportunities for intelligent automation/insights within Salesforce, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate and optimize design based on the value to the user and the business. 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with any other Customer Data Platforms.
  • Salesforce Data Cloud certification- nice to have.
