Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:

• Design the operating model for Medical Insights & Analytics in the India GCC, build the team and capability from the ground up, and run it as a scaled I&A factory across the full set of Medical capabilities

• Partner with the Medical Insights CoE lead to transform the function from report production to insight generation and decision support

• Collaborate with DD&T and shared service teams to build upon what already exists in enterprise, enhancing Medical-specific insights and analytical capability.

• Own and maintain data through insights foundation for Global Medical, across source systems, data products, and analytical products, enabling the architecture choices that make Medical data accessible, connected, and trusted

• Build and run a Medical I&A factory that delivers business enabling analytics including dashboards, recurring and retrospective reporting, and self-service outputs at a predictable quality, cost, and cycle time

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operating Model Design & Capability Build

• Design the target operating model for Medical Insights & Analytics in the India GCC, including service catalogue, delivery model, roles and skill mix, decision rights, governance, ways of working with global stakeholders, and the internal versus vendor split.

• Build the team: define the structure, hire and onboard data engineering, analytics, and visualization talent, set performance expectations, and develop and retain capability as the function scales.

• Stand up and scale the I&A factory across Medical capabilities, sequencing which capabilities onboard when, and transitioning work into steady-state delivery without disruption to global stakeholders.

• Own the business case, roadmap, and value narrative for the capability, and represent Medical I&A in GCC and Global Medical governance forums.

Data Platform, Source System & Architecture Ownership

• Own Medical source systems, data pipelines, data products, and the supporting platform and architecture, including intake, data models, refresh schedules, access management, and lifecycle decisions.

• Set and maintain Medical data standards, definitions, metadata, and quality controls so that the same question is answered the same way across therapeutic areas, functions, and regions.

• Act as the Medical product owner for enterprise architecture decisions that affect Medical data, ensuring Medical requirements are represented in platform roadmaps, integrations, and technology investments.

• Maintain data governance, privacy, and compliance practices for Medical data in line with enterprise policy, including appropriate handling of regulated and third-party data.

I&A Factory Operations & Delivery

• Build and run the Medical I&A team, covering dashboard production, recurring operational reporting, retrospective and ad-hoc analyses, and self-service enablement.

• Cover the full Medical analytics estate: KOL and HCP identification, profiling, tiering and network analytics; MSL and field medical activity insights; scientific communications, publication and congress analytics (share of scientific voice, citation impact, abstract and publication tracking); medical information and inquiry trend analytics; omnichannel medical engagement reporting across digital, approved email, congress and virtual HCP touchpoints; and RWE/HEOR analytic support.

• Accountable for the quality, scientific rigor, timeliness and business relevance of all deliverables produced by the team, setting review standards for analytical soundness, internal consistency, scientific accuracy, compliance, and stakeholder readiness before outputs are released.

• Manage demand intake, prioritization, service levels, and capacity across the cross-functional delivery team; balance recurring production against high-value analytical work.

• Standardize, automate, and retire reporting where possible, using reusable templates, common data products, and AI-enabled tooling to improve cycle time, quality, and cost per output.

Insight Generation, Decision Support & Business Outcomes

• Accountable for partnering with the Medical Insights CoE lead to turn Medical data into actionable insights that drive better decisions, improve portfolio performance, and demonstrate the impact of Medical on patients, healthcare providers, and the business.

• Prioritize insight generation and decision support alongside report production, ensuring every recurring output is tied to a business question, a decision, and an owner.

• Translate activity and output reporting into impact and outcome measures, and prepare decision-ready materials for Global Medical leadership covering trends, risks, trade-offs, and recommended actions.

• Track whether insights are used and what changed as a result, reporting adoption and value realization back to stakeholders and leadership.

Enterprise Partnership, Integration & Influence

• Partner with DD&T, enterprise analytics, and technology teams to secure data access, integration, tooling, and platform support for Medical, operating through partnership and influence rather than direct authority.

• Integrate perspectives and data across Medical, R&D, Finance, DD&T, commercial, and external/third-party sources to create a connected enterprise view rather than a Medical-only picture.

• Serve as the single point of contact between Global Medical stakeholders and data, analytics, and technology partners; guide users on interpreting outputs and adopting data-driven ways of working.

Capability Leverage & Continuous Improvement

• Build on capabilities that already exist in enterprise analytics and shared services, reusing platforms, methods, and expertise instead of creating parallel Medical infrastructure.

• Provide Medical-specific capability leadership and prioritization: define what Medical needs, set the sequence, and hold partners and vendors to agreed outcomes.

• Grow the India GCC Insights & Analytics team's skills through coaching on KOL identification and network methods, scientific literature and citation analytics, publication and congress analytics, MSL insight synthesis, RWE/HEOR analytic methods, engagement metric design, business context and storytelling; support the transition of capability from vendor-led to internally owned delivery.
