Role Objectives:
Lead the Bengaluru GCM Global Medical Information capability across Global Medical Information Content Factory Integration Leads and Global Medical Information Service Delivery Leads.
Ensure high quality and consistent GCM Medical Information service delivery, Medical Information content production oversight and monitoring, and coordination and support of risk management activities in accordance with Global Medical Information quality standards and KPI
Key Responsibilities:
Global Medical Information Team Management
Lead and develop individual contributors across GMI Content Factory Integration, support with Med Info Service Delivery and Risk Management workstreams
Manage prioritization, capacity, and service expectations in collaboration with the Global Medical Information teams
Establish clear operating rhythms, handoffs and decision boundaries with Global Medical Information
Maintain role-based training, SOPs, escalation contacts and onboarding materials for the GCM team
Content Factory Integration & Content Lifecycle
Oversee the single-entry-point to the Content Factory for new, updated, localized and reusable Medical Information content
Ensure the Global Medical Information Content Factory Integration Lead manages the direct Content Factory relationship, including briefs, source packages, timelines, revisions and workflow status
Promote reuse of approved content and appropriate routing of requests to reuse, update, localization or net-new development pathways
Ensure request records, metadata, version history, repository handoffs and content-lifecycle status are complete and traceable
Medical Information Service Delivery & Risk Management Activities
Oversee Medical Information case management, escalation workflows, service performance, handoffs, capacity, and quality monitoring across Global Medical Information teams and call-center vendors.
Oversee scorecards, service reviews, recurring issue analysis, operational gap escalation, and implementation of agreed continuous improvements.
Oversee risk management activities, including audit & inspection documentation retrieval, evidence-pack preparation, activity tracking, and monitoring of open Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) related to Medical Information.
Qualifications:
Experience: More than 9- 12 years of related experience; more than 7 years in the biopharmaceutical industry; more than 7 years in Medical Information, inquiry operations, content operations or healthcare contact-center services; experience leading teams or senior individual contributors preferred
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge of Medical Information workflows, content lifecycles and contact-center operations
Experience leading teams
Understanding of adverse-event, product-quality and complex-inquiry escalation requirements
Experience with audit readiness, operational performance, service partners and Medical Info platforms
Digital/AI fluency: Demonstrated ability to leverage digital tools (e.g., generative AI, automation, analytics) to improve Medical Information content operations, quality, compliance, and cycle times.
Education: A Medical, scientific, pharmacy, nursing, life sciences, healthcare administration, business or related degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred
Languages: Fluent English required; additional languages advantageous
