About the role:
As an ERP Product Line Specialist – Order Fulfilment, you will play a key role in driving the strategy, design, and delivery of ERP product line capabilities within the Supply Chain domain. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology solutions across the ERP landscape (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, eWM).
You will contribute to product line strategy, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management while ensuring operational excellence and business continuity. This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to manage complex, global ERP implementations.
How you will contribute:
- Participate in product line roadmap design and ensure integration with overall product management roadmap and release plans (SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA, SAP eWM).
- Identify and solve complex problems with global impact; oversee implications through implementation.
- Drive user-centric design and operations for ERP Product Line Order Fulfilment (SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA, SAP MM/LE, SAP WM/eWM).
- Define and refine user requirements/user stories/specifications; update/review design papers and process flows.
- Work closely with business process leads, IT team members, and third-party providers to deliver new solutions and enhance existing applications.
- Act as SME for Order Fulfilment; serve as liaison/driver for the business community.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline business and/or layered system processes.
- Ensure ongoing “run” operations for Product Line areas in collaboration with product delivery services.
- Engage with release/engagement teams and major programs to enable adoption and deployment of product line capabilities.
- Drive investigations and adoption of emerging technologies that provide business value.
- Ensure strong documentation practices aligned to SDLC methodologies.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of SAP functional/configuration experience in SAP ECC MM/LE; ideally TM/eWM; integration through interfaces (EDI).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- Experience as a workstream team member in a full lifecycle implementation for a major SAP application implementation.
- Strong technical/application development skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- User-centric mindset; strong analytical skills and decision-making using data.
- Ability to set priorities, define workflow processes, and manage business/provider relationships.
- Experience with SDLC methodology and validation process (including writing deliverables for validated systems).
- Experience working across multiple teams in a matrixed organization.
Preferred requirements:
- Exposure to SAP eWM.
- Exposure to SAP S4/HANA.
- SAP certification within module and/or technology.
- Experience in Agile SCRUM.
- Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience (desired).
- Working knowledge or exposure to SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) and related logistics processes.
