About the Role

(Role purpose / objective)

The Sales Lead is responsible for driving strategic sales activities directly and achieve sales result. This role aims to develop strategic short-term and long-term sales plans to grow by leading a team and managing projects.

How you will contribute:
(Key accountabilities and responsibilities)

  • According to the overall business strategy, develop regional/national sales strategy, implementation plans and management mechanisms, and take full accountability for the achievement of overall sales targets.
  • Develop, manage and optimize the annual sales budget, allocate resources strategically, and ensure budget effectiveness, efficiency and compliance.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with marketing, commercial and other cross-functional teams; and drive cross-functional alignment to support sustainable business growth.
  • Lead and supervise the teams in formulating sales plans, target hospital setting and execution plans, and ensure the progress and delivery of all key sales initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key customers and major accounts, enhance customer satisfaction, lead hospital development, market expansion and key account growth.
  • Lead the training, coaching, assessment and incentive system implementation for managers and MRs, in order to continuously strengthen organizational capability, team effectiveness and sales performance.
  • Drive regional productivity improvement, develop line managers and key talents, and ensure the effective execution of annual performance review and talent development processes.

Skills

minimum education, knowledge or experience required to be successful in role.

  • Extensive leadership experience in pharmaceutical sales management
  • Strong strategic mindset, outstanding business planning capability, and proven leadership in driving large-scale sales organizations
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, key customer management, bidding/tendering management, and business execution capabilities
  • Highly results-oriented, resilient under pressure, with strong communication, influence, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills
