Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Business Diagnostics
- Continuously track and analyze market intelligence within targeted therapeutic areas
- Generate internal and external monthly/quarterly data analysis reports
- Periodically update strategic content in alignment with business cycles; Support the drafting of Business Plans
- Support or manage market research projects to inform strategic decision-making
Operational Excellence
- Coordinate and facilitate OBU Regular Business Reviews
- Organize BU internal activities and cross-functional workshops
- Govern key strategic projects to ensure smooth communication and effective execution
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve complex issues and foster innovative problem-solving approaches
Opportunity Evaluation
- Evaluate the potential of new indications and pipeline assets, including target patient populations, competitive landscape, and resource requirements
- Formulate strategic options incorporating cross-functional inputs into robust analysis and business case modeling
- Prepare high-quality presentation materials and executive briefings to secure support and alignment from relevant Global departments
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree or above; consulting or trainee working experience
- Strong logical and strategic thinking, with high data sensitivity
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate internal and external teams
- Excellent oral and written English & Mandarin
- Solid skills in data analysis, Excel modeling, and PowerPoint
Strategy & Operation Lead
Position Overview
This role is situated within the OBU and will be responsible for defining the OBU strategy, leading crucial strategic initiatives, and shaping the long-term portfolio roadmap
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Generation & Global Communication
- Work with the business to analyze market dynamics, and initiate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to understand business impacts and strategy needs
- Define the mid- and long-term strategic visions and comprehensive strategic planning; Lead the development of OBU business plan and activity plan
- Serve as the primary strategic liaison with Global team to achieve clear strategy alignment and ensure resource allocation for key initiatives
Cross-Functional Alignment & Strategic Execution
- Build and optimize the mechanism for OBU Regular Business Reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives with strategic goals
- Translate high-level strategic visions into actionable, integrated execution roadmaps; Lead and monitor strategy implementation progress
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate project success
Portfolio Management & Asset Planning
- Define the OBU portfolio strategic focus in solid tumor and hematology malignancy fields
- Explore and evaluate the internal and external new product/indication development opportunities
- Coach team members in conduct market assessment, strategic analytics, and business case building
- Report to and secure support and alignment from relevant Global departments; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate the pipeline projects under Global governance
