Job Description

Job Title: Associate Supply Chain Manager

Location: TWN - Taipei

About the role:

This position is for responsible for

Managing the demand & supply planning, and long term supply planning to secure stable supply. Coordinating with commercial team to ensure new products launch plan & forecast accuracy. Monitoring the day-to-day activities of purchase of goods and materials that meet organization standards of price, quantity, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Driving continuous improvement in process and efficiency operation.

How you will contribute:

To effectively manage the entire end to end demand and supply process including execution of current ERP & demand system (e.g. SAP, APO) To be responsible for an explicit forecast accuracy improvement for assigned portfolio To optimize and achieve our local inventory targets and to provide requested follow up reports for our regional and global team. To manage procurement process for internal customers and functions and where necessary, review submitted purchase requisitions in order to ensure completeness of requisition and approvals. Monitors the progress of the orders to ensure timely delivery Drive improvement in the area of demand planning & S&OP process, providing adequate input for country S&OP cycle. Collaborate with relevant department to ensure all SC issues are resolved accordingly.   Participates in all projects assigned

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor Degree in business, supply chain, finance or related field

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in inbound/outbound supply chain management

  • Excellent knowledge & skills of using Excel, ERP system (e.g. SAP), and planning tool (e.g  APO) ; SAP super user will be plus

  • Relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to take on multiple projects at the same time

  • Strong organizational, analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in English
