Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, drive and champion BU sales excellence strategy and implementation plan that is aligned with Takeda China Business Strategy and Company Culture
  • Work with BU Head to create a high performing and competitively superior sales force that delivers results and value-added services to both internal and external customers through improved physician targeting, territory alignment, sales quota setting and sales incentive scheme.
  • Lead team to provide monthly sales analytics, and follow up Business performance and Operational performance; Be trusted advisor in business insights and business strategy to BU leadership team.
  • Lead the quarterly and yearly sales planning cycle (territory alignment and target setting) with BU and ensure timely delivery with quality.
  • Ensure optimal development of financial and human resources for sales force performance. Monitor sales force design/development and make recommendations to BU Head to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Act as a key contact window between BU and SFE Incentive team on the incentive design, development, implementation to ensure strong alignment between business priority and incentive design.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with BU Heads, sales managers, HR, IT, finance and other departments to ensure the implementation of company’s SFE strategies and development of a systematic approach to monitor KPI and track performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to BU management on the execution status, gaps and suggestions.
  • Lead team to work with BU on new products launch preparation, such as territory and target setting, KPI design to support rare disease new model deployment.
  • Develop and coach team member to be good business partner



Qualifications & Skills:

Level of Education

  • Bachelor Degree or above in preferred Mathematics, Finance, Statistics and Computer Science background.

Working Experience in Relevant Field

  • Around 10 years’ experience in sales capability or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Sales Force Effectiveness or related functions is a must.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ people management experience is a must
  • An ability to generate performance management reports, sales forecasts and detailed analysis and recommendations for brand performance.
  • Experience of implementation of sales strategy such as improved physician targeting, sales force design, quota setting and business planning etc.

  • Fluent in English in both oral and written.
