Job Description

Job Title:  Senior Demand and Supply Planner

Location:  Vietnam

About the role: 

 A Supply & Demand Planning role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, monitoring and evaluating sales and marketing data to effectively estimate future product demands. Duties include planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data, and generating To Market Sales forecast.

You will ensure that supply plan and inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand whilst minimizing costs and reducing wastage risk.

The job responsibilities include managing stock replenishment, delivery to wholesaler as well as supporting BU team on stock controlling.

To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communication and highly proficient in using Microsoft excel and familiar with ERP/SAP system.

How you will contribute: 

1)Demand and supply planning:

  • Monitor and maintain an accurate rolling monthly demand forecast by analyzing historical sales data and market trends and regulatory requirements, creating proper supply plan.
  • Initiate the monthly S&OP process to identify opportunity & risks and mitigation activities for entire company products
  • Measure, analyze and report KPI metrics such as Forecast accuracy, inventory target, stock aging...and identify solutions for improvement
  • Prepare monthly sales forecast and enter in IBP system in collaboration with local & regional team, supply sites.
  • Work closely with other departments within the organization, such as supply site, sales, and marketing, regulatory, quality... to ensure that production plans are aligned with demand forecasts and registration status.
  • Identify, communicate, and seek resolution to any issues that could impact the supply chain.
  • Manage New Product Launching.

2)To-market sales management:

  • Initiate To-Market sales plan and collaborate with Finance/Logistics/QA/warehouse team to implement it as planned and ensuring high forecast accuracy.
  • Process Credit note/Debit note, and others related in SAP system

3)Inventory management: 

  • Track inventory levels to ensure that there is enough stock to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and reducing costs.
  • Working with cross-functional team to have effective stock management and timely risk mitigation.
  • Build and monitor stock replenishment plan to wholesaler.
  • Support stock allocation/Branches Transfer/Order release to ensure that a company has the right amount of products to fulfill orders.
  • Monitor stock aging/low moving/obsoleting as per company procedures
  • Monitor cycle stock count/ annual stock count together with team

4) Logistics and warehouse operation support: the position includes logistics and warehouse operation backup when required.

5)Other tasks assigned by Function head.

What you bring to Takeda: 

  • To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor or college degree in Business administration, Logistics, Supply chain, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain role, with an understanding of planning, forecasting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical, data management and highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze for data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in SAP and forecasting tool.
  • Good at the English language, both written and verbal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to travel to Warehouse located in Long An
