• Implementing collaborative robots — or simply, cobots — that work alongside our teams to save time on repetitive tasks. This upgrade brought work that may have previously taken 30 hours to accomplish down to 5 hours.
• Upgrading one of our manufacturing facilities to utilize digital technology into a full manufacturing cycle. This project, led by Takeda Senior Vice President of Global Engineering and Manufacturing of Supply, Gunter Baumgartner, led to our team winning the ISPE’s Facility of the Year Award (FOYA).
• Utilizing 3D printing technology to streamline the prototyping process for new products and ideas, as well as significantly reducing employee training time.
• Reducing water consumption and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions related to our operations before 2034.
