Objective

  • This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, implementing omnichannel strategies across multiple oncology brands.

  • Person hired will be required to carry a close collaboration with each marketing brand leads and members as a center of excellence but directly accountable to design and implement marketing of future leveraging digital, data, and technology.

  • Person hired will be key role for internal and external collaboration driving omnichannel execution and enhancements.

  • Person hired will be building a lasting omnichannel vision and plan that can be applied to existing and future brands at different life stages.

  • Person hired will be building business requirement and transforming it to system architecture, drive documentation and communication with external partner based on business needs from brand marketing and ComEx

Accountability

Content & Channel Strategist role will be accountable to lead the future of Takeda Japan Oncology omnichannel marketing by designing compelling content strategies and orchestrating optimal channel execution, grounded in data and customer insight. This role will be encompass the candidate to transform

  • From brand marketing-driven brand plans including digital strategies à CCS-driven digital strategies aligned with overall marketing strategy & each brand strategy

  • From silo digital insightsà To holistic and consistent insights across brands gathered in OSO, deriving data intelligence that differentiates customer engagements and drive business growth

  • From brand specific data management and analytics approach à To standardized and harmonized customer data management design and implementation across the business unit 

  • From: brand-wise HCP marketing events à To insights based strategic key stakeholder engagements plans across the brands

  • From: Push focused omnichannel approach à To explore and build in external novel marketing solution to foster change agility mindset in marketing

  • Build and scale omnichannel operations structure that will elevate and drive the business growth but bring more operational efficiency.

  • Collaboratively work with ComEx for digital activity operation and tracking in sales function

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: 

  • 5+ years of combined experience that includes core marketing and digital planning, execution, and insights in Pharma industry inside or outside of Japan

  • Ability to digest complex information and leverage strategic framework

  • Ability to work in varied organization environment; micro (operations) and macro (strategic areas) elements of the business

  • Business acumen, understanding of marketing strategy development and execution

  • Enterprise mindset, ability to work, manage and influence broad stakeholder group without direct authority.

  • Good analytical, logical, and strategic thinking skill.

  • Issue identification and solution oriented approach

  • Business and strategic planning

  • Business strategic frameworks

  • Program and project management experience

  • Self starter, proactively finding organization challenges and continuously engage to find the most impactful solution

  • Change activator, comfortable to propose, drive and implement the change

  • Leader aspirant, comfortable to work in global/local atmosphere changing approach based on cultural demands and drives the outcome

  • Be open and drive constructive discussion even if under conflict situation  

  • Proactively explore external environment future trend and seek beyond conventional solutions, continuously exploring new ideas and innovative approaches to maximize impact with strong curiosity

  • Be respectful to all the stakeholders

  • Japanese: Fluent

  • English: Business Fluent (favorable)

Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary:

  • Allowances: Commutation, Housing, Overtime Work etc.

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
