About the role:
As the OBU DD&T Business Partner for Medical & Access, at the Director level, you will collaborate with business stakeholders to better understand their strategic imperatives, shape and execute joint roadmaps to define how DD&T can activate their functional strategy. Join Takeda as an OBU DD&T Business Partner to collaborate with the Global and regional Medical and Access teams to drive and lead the overall Data, Digital and Technology strategy and agenda. As part of the OBU DD&T team, you will report to the Head of Global OBU DD&T.
How you will contribute:
Serve as the primary point of contact to the medical and Pricing, Value & Access (PVA) teams from DD&T, aligning DD&T's strategy to targeted business outcomes.
Drives adoption of DD&T operating model throughout business teams embedding capabilities into business ways of working with clear roles and responsibilities.
Proactively understand the business strategies and the technology needs of the medical and access business teams to determine short-term and long-term DD&T priorities. Help translate business strategies into digital solutions
Working between the business teams and the DDT teams, act as liaison throughout projects to ensure the technology meets the business needs, help remove obstacles, and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders
Ensure adherence to architecture and data standards, promoting transparency & collaboration.
Steward BU/BF DD&T budget, optimizing for value and ensuring adherence to standards
Define value and establish KPIs to track DD&T impact on business outcomes.
Define a pipeline of strategic initiatives for Medical and PVA and outline budget for future needs to continue and add value to business teams. Work closely with the business to evaluate, prioritize and appropriately support initiatives
Collaborate with the DD&T Data & Analytics team to identify innovative technology approaches to evidence generation and driving pipeline acceleration
Collaborate with DD&T Data & Analytics team to identify innovative technology approaches to improve speed to access
Explore the ecosystem (internal, external) identifying current and emerging trends and technology to drive innovation, incentivizing data and digital proofs of concept and funding high-potential use cases.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. Advance degrees preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical, access, digital, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and collaborating with senior leadership.
Demonstrated experience in digital medical and access and partnering with data management teams.
Digital Expertise: Strong understanding of digital medical and access platforms including but not limited to Veeva, reimbursement and pricing databases
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with leadership and end users.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align digital product development with business strategies and marketing team needs.
Global Perspective: Experience working in a global role with a focus on regional execution, particularly within the US market, with proven understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics in key markets worldwide (e.g. Europe, Japan)
Travel up to 20%; international and domestic

Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$174,500.00 - $274,230.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
