About the Role:
The CPV & Advanced Analytics Products & Platforms Lead is a senior technical and business leadership role within GSQ DD&T, Digital Manufacturing. The position reports to the Head of Manufacturing Intelligence and focuses on using digital technologies, data, and advanced analytics to improve manufacturing process understanding, monitoring, and performance.
Main purpose of the role
The role is responsible for leading the analysis, requirements definition, design, implementation, and delivery of digital platforms and IT solutions that support Continued Process Verification (CPV) and other process analytics activities.
The role will work closely with MSAT, manufacturing, DD&T, suppliers, and other Takeda stakeholders to collect and contextualize manufacturing data, develop analytics solutions, and deploy them globally. As the technical owner, the position will also ensure that existing solutions are properly maintained, supported, updated, and managed through controlled change processes.
How you will contribute:
Lead complex and non-routine technical solutions supporting CPV and process analytics.
Translate business and manufacturing needs into technical requirements and digital solutions.
Work with the Head of Manufacturing Intelligence and business stakeholders to create strategic digital roadmaps.
Define project scope, budgets, timelines, resources, and delivery approaches.
Manage projects using agile or waterfall methodologies, depending on the requirements.
Monitor project progress, risks, deliverables, and performance metrics.
Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management.
Coordinate solution support with Application Support teams, vendors, and Takeda Innovation Competency Centers.
Assess enhancement requests, investigate system issues, and determine the impact of proposed changes.
Recommend new technologies and systems based on industry trends, business needs, and Takeda’s digital strategy.
Ensure that solutions are developed, implemented, and documented according to Takeda’s quality and lifecycle standards.
Apply and promote the use of SDLC, ITIL, QMS, and Project Life Cycle processes.
Manage technical relationships with external vendors during projects and ongoing operations.
Lead cross-functional teams made up of Takeda employees, contractors, suppliers, and ICC members.
What you bring to Takeda:
An engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant technical and business experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Strong knowledge of digital technologies, data analytics, and agile delivery methods.
A good understanding of manufacturing processes and automation systems.
The ability to analyse data flows and map business or manufacturing processes.
Experience with process analytics platforms such as Biovia Discoverant, Statistica, or comparable tools.
Knowledge of SQL and Databricks.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities.
Preferred experience
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience with regulated pharmaceutical systems.
- Basic knowledge of computer system validation.
- Experience with manufacturing data collection and contextualization.
- Familiarity with AWS hosting technologies and tools.
- Experience working in global, highly regulated, and cross-functional environments.
Location and travel
The preferred location is any Takeda site within the European Union, although suitable candidates may also be based at manufacturing sites in the United States or Asia. The role requires access to transportation for meetings and the ability to travel regionally and globally across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Overall profile
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role combining digital manufacturing, advanced analytics, IT platform ownership, project management, and stakeholder leadership. The successful candidate will help Takeda modernize manufacturing analytics capabilities, improve data-driven decision-making, and ensure that CPV solutions remain reliable, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 5.710,82, - gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary is higher and depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
