Job Description
Job Title: Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) Manager - Vaccines
Location: Mumbai, India
How you will contribute:
Sales Force Effectiveness
- Enhance sales force productivity by implementing and monitoring CRM tools and metrics.
- Develop, compile, and distribute relevant reports to drive business performance.
- Validate and manage customer databases to ensure effective targeting.
- Provide analytical support to sales teams, regional managers, national sales managers, key accounts, and marketing teams.
CRM Management
- Monitor the execution of product strategies by the sales force as directed by the marketing team.
- Spend time in the field with the sales force to ensure strategy implementation and selling skills.
- Track and assess the effectiveness of SFE measures related to performance.
- Identify and address gaps in the sales force's understanding and use of available tools.
- Ensure timely implementation and management of CRM systems by the sales force.
- Serve as the system champion, providing support and training on CRM usage.
- Manage, coordinate, and implement system updates or changes.
Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) Management
- Implement and manage incentive plans for the sales force and other departments as applicable, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop innovative SIP structures in consultation with the Commercial Excellence Lead.
- Ensure timely rollout of SIPs after alignment with franchise heads, finance, HR, Business Operations head, and legal/compliance teams if needed.
- Perform timely calculations and alignments with finance.
Business Intelligence (BI) Capabilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in tools such as Power BI and Excel.
- Develop visualization dashboards using internal data sources.
- Develop and deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from functional requirements and integrate them into visualization dashboards.
Training
- Train the field force on SFE, CRM modules, and other relevant areas.
- Outsource training needs to vendors as required, such as digital tools or virtual meeting skills.
What you bring to Takeda:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Relevant Commercial degree or equivalent
- 5 + years Sales Force Effectiveness experience, CRM systems, report generation tools etc.
- Training experience preferable
- Relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficiency in Power BI & Excel
- Knowledge of analytical applications and tools
- Robust knowledge of the fundamentals of effective selling measures
