We are looking for a Data Science & Process Excellence Lead who will be driving data-driven decision-making and process excellence to enhance patient and healthcare experiences. This role is at the forefront of implementing advanced analytical techniques such as AI, machine learning, and statistics, which are crucial for driving innovation and strategic growth within the organization.
DATA SCIENCE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize unmet needs that can be addressed using analytics.
Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to derive actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
Model Building: Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive models to enhance business strategies.
Solution Development: Create solutions using advanced analytical techniques such as data mining, visualization, and machine learning.
Project Management: Oversee project delivery from start to finish, ensuring high-quality machine learning pipeline development and documentation.
Adoption and Change Management: Drive the adoption of solutions through user-centered design and clear demonstration of value.
Roadmap Development: Collaborate to create and evolve the data science roadmap and operating model.
Community Participation: Engage with the regional analytics community to contribute and leverage best practices.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate policies and data security strategies.
PROCESS EXCELLENCE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Process Design Leadership: Lead projects aimed at improving efficiency, business performance, and customer satisfaction.
Localization of Processes: Adapt global processes to local contexts by adding details and defining clear ownership.
Process Documentation: Maintain clear documentation to ensure alignment and reduce silos.
Automation: Automate processes using tools like Power Automate and similar automation technologies.
Process Optimization: Identify and prioritize key processes for optimization while balancing organizational change management.
Goal Setting and Monitoring: Establish clear goals and KPIs and monitor progress.
Governance and Communication: Set up governance for continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely communication to manage risks and foster collaboration.
Capability Building: Create tools, templates, or playbooks to enhance organizational capabilities and establish habits.
Training Development: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on new and improved processes.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
M.Sc. or PhD within Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other relevant degree.
3+ years in Data Science; 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience.
Expertise in process optimization, business process design, Lean Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, and ITIL practices.
Strong skills in diagnostics, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in data mining, visualization, machine learning, statistics; Market Mix Modeling, recommendation engines, and automation tools like Power Automate.
Advanced knowledge in Python, R, SQL; familiarity with Databricks ML environment, RStudio, Dataiku, ABBY, and Linguamatics.
Skilled in deploying machine learning applications and creating data visualizations (e.g., Power BI).
Skilled in cross-functional partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and managing projects through concept to adoption.
Visionary mindset for driving organizational innovation in data science and process excellence; strong curiosity and growth mindset.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
