About the Role

The US Medical Digital Engagement & Insights team is looking for a Tableau Visualization Lead who is passionate about transforming complex data into clear, compelling insights. This role will focus on designing and delivering high quality Tableau dashboards that help Medical Affairs teams better understand engagement trends, digital performance, and field activity across channels.

This position sits at the intersection of analytics, storytelling, and user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong Tableau expertise with an ability to understand business questions, translate them into meaningful KPIs, and design dashboards that tell a clear narrative.

You will partner closely with Medical Affairs stakeholders, analysts, and data teams to ensure our dashboards are intuitive, impactful, insights-to-action oriented, and aligned with best practices in data visualization.

How You Will Contribute:

Lead Dashboard Design and Visualization

  • Design and build intuitive, interactive Tableau dashboards that clearly communicate insights and trends
  • Transform complex datasets into clear visual narratives that support decision making
  • Apply best practices in data visualization, dashboard usability, and layout design
  • Continuously refine dashboards based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs

Translate Business Needs Into Insights

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate them into meaningful KPIs and metrics
  • Help define how success should be measured across engagement and digital initiatives
  • Design dashboards that help stakeholders quickly understand key drivers, trends, and opportunities
  • Guide conversations around how insights should be communicated to different audiences

Establish Visualization Best Practices

  • Develop and promote standards for dashboard design, layout, color usage, labeling, and visual clarity
  • Ensure dashboards maintain consistency, usability, and high visual quality
  • Create reusable visualization templates and patterns to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Optimize dashboards for performance and ease of use

Partner Across Analytics and Data Teams

  • Collaborate with analysts and data teams to ensure the right data structures support visualization needs
  • Provide guidance on how data models and datasets can better support reporting and dashboards
  • Ensure dashboards are built on accurate and reliable data sources

Skills and Qualifications:

Tableau and Visualization Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience building advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations
  • Deep knowledge of Tableau capabilities including calculated fields, parameters, table calculations, LOD expressions, and dashboard actions
  • Experience designing dashboards that balance analytical depth with visual clarity
  • Ability to optimize dashboards for performance and usability

Data Storytelling and Communication

  • Strong ability to turn complex analysis into simple, compelling visual stories
  • Ability to present insights in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong sense of visual design and information hierarchy

Business Translation and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ability to listen to stakeholders and translate business needs into clear metrics and dashboards
  • Strong partnership skills with the ability to guide conversations around metrics, KPIs, and insight delivery
  • Experience working closely with business teams to deliver actionable analytics

Analytical Thinking

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful patterns
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or Medical Affairs analytics
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks and cloud data warehouses
  • Basic familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and transformation

Work Location: Mexico City – Santa Fe.

Hybrid model with a minimum in-office requirement of at least 10 (ten) days per month.
