Job Description

Job Title: Senior Learning Analyst - DD&T Global & Regional Programs

Location: Bangalore, India

The Opportunity

The Senior Learning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Takeda’s digital and technical learning ecosystem. You will design, curate, and manage high‑quality learning experiences that enable DD&T teams across multiple regions to adopt new platforms, strengthen digital competencies, and accelerate transformation.  

This role blends instructional design, experience design, foundational IT fluency, stakeholder engagement, and Agile project management to deliver effective and scalable learning solutions. You will also help maintain DD&T’s learning ecosystem by ensuring training programs align with business needs, global standards, and learner‑experience best practices. 

How You Will Contribute

  • Execute learning projects in accordance with the Learning Strategy, Learning Needs Assessment, and the overall Learning Roadmap. 
  • Partner with stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization to understand learning needs, capability gaps, training requirements, and target audiences. 
  • Conduct research and collaborate with Curriculum Designers, SMEs, and business partners to define curricula, content needs, delivery methods, and learning outputs. 
  • Ensure all programs align with the Global DD&T learning strategy and support business, technology, and transformation objectives. 


Learning Experience Design & Development

  • Design and develop engaging learning experiences using instructional design, adult learning, visual design, and experience design principles. 
  • Build scalable learning journeys and curricula for local and global audiences. 
  • Translate IT platform capabilities into clear, intuitive learning materials using foundational technical understanding. 
  • Ensuring learning experiences meet the needs of diverse audiences across cultures, functions, and time zones. 


Learning Delivery & Program Management

  • Coordinate training schedules, communications, materials, and delivery logistics across regions. 
  • Deliver training via both synchronous and asynchronous modalities. 
  • Use Agile project management tools and methodologies to track progress, manage workstreams, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. 


Evaluation, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate learning program effectiveness using data, feedback, and learner insights; recommend enhancements. 
  • Support rollout and adoption of new learning platforms, systems, and innovative learning solutions. 
  • Apply experience design methods to enhance learner engagement and overall user experience. 
  • Bring diverse perspectives and fresh ideas to improve learning solutions for global audiences. 


Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors to source, develop, and deliver high‑quality learning solutions. 
  • Collaborate effectively with Curriculum Designers, SMEs, HR teams, DD&T leaders, and business partners. 
  • Partner with stakeholders to align learning objectives, priorities, and delivery expectations. 


Requirements 

Capabilities

These capabilities are critical for success in the role: 

  • Business English fluency - must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for global audiences. 
  • Proven expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles. 
  • Global work experience in large, complex, or highly cross‑functional organizations with multiple stakeholders and SMEs. 
  • Ability to design learning content for diverse audiences across cultures, functions, and time zones. 
  • Proven expertise in digital domain (Office 365, LMS, and LxP) and content authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Vyond, Synthesia, and similar). 
  • Strong analytical ability to measure learning effectiveness and recommend improvements. 


Skills & Qualifications 

Preferred Skills

  • Technical experience with DD&T‑relevant domains, such as digital platforms, foundational IT systems, or emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI, GenAI, automation, etc.). 
  • Experience with technology capability‑building programs. 
  • Experience with learning platforms such as SuccessFactors, EdCast, LinkedIn Learning, or Pluralsight. 
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects, manage timelines, and operate in a fast‑paced environment. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across regional and global matrix organizations. 
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills. 
  • Experience managing vendors and content providers. 
  • PMP or PgMP certification. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Organizational Development, Business, IT, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in learning & development, digital learning, instructional design, or related roles.
