Job Description

Manages / oversees all of the operational processes in relation to the promotion of commercial materials. Oversees and maintains the SOPs, training documents, and training processes for any stakeholders involved in promotional review

How You Will Contribute:

The Promotional Review Intern will support the marketing operations and compliance teams by assisting with the processes that govern the review and approval of promotional materials. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry’s marketing operations and regulatory domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to review promotional content for regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in drafting and editing promotional materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and legal teams to understand and apply relevant guidelines ( e.g ., FDA regulations).
  • Maintain and manage documentation of all promotional materials and review processes.
  • Conduct market research to provide insights for promotional operational strategies.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, providing updates on review statuses and deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • This position is hybrid position located in Cambridge, MA
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply regulatory guidelines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)
    • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

  • Paid sick time

  • Civic Duty paid time off

  • Participation at company volunteer events 

  • Participation at company sponsored special events

  • Access to on-site fitness center (where available)

  • Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
