Job Description
Tax Solutions supports Takeda entities across multiple countries with tax compliance and reporting.
This role focuses on Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and Withholding Tax (WHT), combining tax compliance, tax accounting, and process improvement in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate CIT compliance for assigned entities
- Oversee WHT obligations and ensure alignment with CIT reporting
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax accounting, including tax provisions and reporting in Hyperion
- Monitor accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of tax deliverables
- Collaborate with Global Tax, finance teams, auditors, and external providers
- Support tax audits and respond to authority queries
- Implement legislative changes and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
- Manage deadlines independently and escalate risks when needed
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax
- 3–5 years of experience in direct tax compliance and/or tax accounting
- Knowledge of CIT, WHT, and tax accounting principles
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Understanding of controls, audits, and SOX
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent English
Nice to Have
- Experience in multinational or shared services environments
- Exposure to process improvement (Lean, Kaizen) or automation tools
- Industry experience in pharma or life sciences
