We are currently hiring for a Brand & Customer Manager (all genders) PDT SCIG on a permanent contract for our Swiss local office in Glattpark (Opfikon).
ROLE OBJECTIVE
- Responsible for all aspects of the SCIG brand management of the given products in Switzerland.
- Optimizes brand performance by developing and executing marketing and customer engagement strategies, including the Next Generation Customer Experience (NGCE) and leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and actions.
- Drive the adoption of digital tools and platforms to enhance customer engagement and streamline brand management processes.
- Focuses on PDT value recognition, particularly driving the SCIG business, by developing and implementing strategies that enhance customer engagement and value perception.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Strategy and Management
- Leads the business strategy process for PDT SCIG products, with a strong focus on driving the NGCE in the PDT area as a core component of the strategy.
- Develops and implements a concrete action plan to locally advance PDT value recognition by analyzing stakeholders and interconnections to identify potential partners and inform strategic planning.
- Implements agile methodologies to accelerate the development and execution of marketing strategies, ensuring rapid response to market changes and customer feedback.
- Spends significant time with customers and other stakeholders, gaining detailed insights and knowledge of the disease area, and establishing personal relations with key customers and business stakeholders.
- Directs generation and analysis of data to seek out opportunities to support recommendations for strategic direction based on demand and market dynamics.
- Creates a test-and-learn mentality, encouraging continuous experimentation and adaptation of sales strategies based on feedback and performance data.
Effective Team and Cross-Functional Working Internally and Externally
- Leads cross-functional squads that include members from marketing, sales, medical, and OCE teams to drive integrated brand strategies.
- Develops effective and constructive working relationships throughout the Business Unit, the LOC, with the EUCAN PDT Brand Team, Market Access, Medical, Patient Advocacy, and Customer Excellence teams.
- Forms discussion groups to identify valuable selling situations, target customers, and useful alerts.
- Utilizes advanced analytics to identify high-potential prescribers and tailor engagement strategies accordingly.
- Coordinates and personalizes sales channels, including in-person and virtual interactions, to optimize HCP engagement.
Performance and Financial Management
- Actively analyzes in-market performance and identifies key metrics to assess performance at market and customer levels, taking into account key drivers of customer behavior.
- Implement predictive analytics to forecast market trends and customer needs, enabling proactive adjustments to marketing strategies
- Leads and takes ownership of key financial tasks for the brand, including the development of annual budgets, brand plans, sales forecasts, quarterly updates, etc., ensuring effective budget control and resource management within predefined project budgets.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through targeted engagement strategies and collaborative initiatives
- Provides a targeted and personalized sales experience to healthcare providers (HCPs) by leveraging digital and analytics tools.
- Develops and maintains strong, effective, and constructive relationships with key external stakeholders (e.g., advisory groups, agencies).
- Implements innovative multi-channel engagement approaches with customers.
Risk Management and Controls
- Supports the BU Head in managing the company’s risk profile, including Code of Conduct and the Health and Safety performance of the business.
- Assists the BU Head in ensuring that appropriate internal controls are in place.
- Assesses business risks and opportunities.
SKILLS, LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES, and EDUCATION
Critical Skills and Competencies
- Integrates and drives the execution of plans/tactics for functional strategies.
- High proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems, social media, and content management systems
- Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these into actionable marketing strategies
- Influences the functional strategy by defining, building, and communicating processes, relationships, and efficiencies in areas of accountability.
- Understands the environment and business model where the brand/s operate.
- Outside thinking; advocating patient and HCP perspective into the organization.
- Business acumen and ability to understand and actively contribute to the management of a P&L.
- Understanding of customers’ needs and ability to translate their needs into highly impactful tactics and solutions.
- Proficiency in leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to enhance sales strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales management tools.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace new sales models and technologies.
Experience and Education
- Relevant university degree in Life Science or Pharmacy.
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry in a similar position, preferably in specialty care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving collaborative projects.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In depth knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and codices for pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical, pharmacoeconomic/-political landscape in Switzerland.
- Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, project management and E-mail and presentation software.
- Fluent German or English both written and oral is mandatory; French is a plus.
