Role Objective
Digital health is a rapidly growing field that significantly impacts the health ecosystem. At Takeda, we are committed to leveraging digital health as a key value driver locally, regionally, and globally to improve patient care. In this role, the successful candidate will:
Support Digital Health Lead in Canada with the development and implementation of patient/human-centric digital health solutions, leveraging EUCAN flagship infrastructure and adapting to specific needs in the Canadian patient journey
Gain practical experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and develop technical expertise in digital health in line with personal and professional learning journey
Key accountabilities
Work with the Digital Health Lead in Canada to contribute to the digital health strategy, including identification and prioritization of digital leverage points, and advancement of the overall roadmap
Leverage AI-powered analytics and automation tools to inform decision-making and optimise digital health solutions.
Support Digital Health Lead with key cross-functional stakeholder management activities including workshops and project meetings
Analyze internal and external data and materials to inform projects and assess opportunities
Support Digital Health Lead with development, implementation, and ongoing management of digital health solutions and projects
Assist DD&T team with efforts to facilitate adoption of new digital and AI technologies, supporting change management and upskilling initiatives across the organization.
Conduct research on digital health trends and best practices
Provide hands-on support with learning and experience sharing for wider organization
Participate actively in local and regional digital health community
Education, Licenses/Certifications, Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Currently enrolled in the University of Toronto Masters of Biotechnology program and part of digital health stream
Experience with AI-driven data analysis, automation platforms and generative AI tools is highly desirable.
Familiarity with and knowledge of digital health technologies and trends
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel and Power BI, with the ability to provide insights to inform decision-making
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to propose innovative solutions
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g. product development and/or project management)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as required (e.g. written reports, oral presentations)
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Data and Insights, Marketing, and Medical Affairs
Early adopter of digital technologies and processes
Demonstrated resilience, flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving digital health and AI landscape.
Curiosity and growth mindset
Fluency in English (spoken and written) required; Bi-lingual (French) is preferred.
Travel Requirements
Ability to travel within Ontario to meetings and/or conferences (< 5% of the time)

Hybrid role between Toronto office and remote working
1 year fixed term contract
