Job Description
JOB FUNCTION:
As Marketing Trainee for the Business Unit in Portugal, you will be responsible for supporting Brand Manager in the development of local strategic projects to grow Takeda´s business within compliance and legal requirements. Reporting formally to BU Head and being tutored by Brand Manager you will be part of a dynamic team where you will be able to learn, develop and forge yourself in the forward-thinking, agile, and resilient Marketing Trainee Takeda has envisioned.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Support BU Head and Brand Manager in the:
Development of the local annual strategic Marketing and Tactical Plan for the assigned products including annual and long-term plans for the established products.
Development and implementation of annual cycle meeting plans and initiatives to support brand strategy and objectives
Development of multichannel solutions/tools and marketing activities/programs in line with the strategic brand plans: development of marketing tools and activities such as campaigns, brochures, branding guidelines, slide-decks, training manuals, inter/intranet sites and other e-media, congress booth materials, satellite symposia, posters, standalone meetings.
Demonstrates understanding of the local TA market. Analyses the market on a regular basis and initiates appropriate market research to identify business opportunities. Communication to sales force of product positioning and branding.
Deliver agreed tactics to drive Takeda performance, including and not limited to delivering product, therapeutic and disease knowledge, detailing to prescribers and other relevant healthcare providers.
Support the organization and running high-level scientific meetings face to face or remotely, with customers delivering customized presentations based on the customer's needs conveying product importance
Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies.
Participate at congresses, meetings and trainings.
Act as an ambassador for the Takeda brand, its vision and values that achieves patient focus at all levels of the business.
Proactively engage in collaboration field partners, including KAMs, MSLs, MAMs to ensure alignment in objectives and coordination of activities with accounts and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Education:
B. Sc. Degree or equivalent
Experience:
Background in the area of marketing, biological or medical sciences.
Previous experience in pharma industry is a nice to have
Skills:
Strong skills in performance analysis and action plan development
Established analytical ability in business or scientific area.
Ability to interpret and use complex scientific data and maintain an extremely high level of knowledge of current trials and advances in treatment.
Demonstrate very good communication skills and high organization and workload capacity
Solid personal attributes such as: team worker, accountability, forward-looking, fearless, problem solver, proactive, curiosity, creativity, resilience, drive and confidence.
