Job Description
MARKET ACCESS MANAGER:
Role Objective:
Our Market Access Department has an exciting opportunity as Market Access Manager responsible for Hematology, PDTs, Hereditary Angioedema and Transplant TA´s.
We are looking for an experienced Market Access professional with strong Market access experience. The successful candidate will bring experience in complex and matrixed organizations, and in leading key initiatives across franchises. Reporting into the Head of Market Access & Value Strategy, you will be co-leading innovative contracting initiatives as well as provide support to strategic projects inside PVA.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and align within different team’s market access strategy
Conduct advanced market research and lead complex studies
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure the drug's/device's value proposition is recognized
Perform advanced economic analysis and make improvement recommendations
Lead project teams, providing guidance and mentorship in market access strategies
Negotiate contracts and represent the organization in project matters with senior external personnel
Design and implement institutional projects aligned with organizational goals
Act as the Market Access department’s representative within the Business Units, ensuring strategic alignment and integration of key initiatives
Analyzes competitive intelligence, capable of advising based on insights and handling complex analysis
Leads commercialization efforts, advising others and anticipating market requirements for novel products.
Responsible of the Monitoring of the Performance of VBC and other Offers
Report performance in a timely manner to LOC stakeholders and EUCAN roles
Liaise with Global/Regional PVA Roles
Monitor the Commercial Policy and prepare and defend price exception cases with PVA Region
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Strong English level (due to our very frequent/constant interaction with global/regional teams).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in market access, pricing, reimbursement, or related fields within the pharmaceutical industry.
Skills:
Strong analytical and economic evaluation skills, capable of conducting advanced research and analysis.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and negotiate contracts.
Proven experience in developing and executing complex market access strategies.
Leadership skills to lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally and represent the Market Access department within Business Units.
Strong understanding of national and international healthcare systems and reimbursement mechanisms.
Ability to design and implement projects aligned with business objectives and market needs.
