Job Description
The In-Field Market Access Manager (IFMA) is responsible for securing sustainable and timely access to Takeda’s medicines across País Vasco, Aragón, Cantabria, Navarra and La Rioja, four autonomous communities that play a decisive role in healthcare budget management, implementation of rational drug-use measures, and execution of national P&R decisions from the Comisión Interministerial de Precios.
This role shapes Takeda’s institutional value at national, regional and local levels. The IFMA contributes to defining the value proposition of new products together with the P&R/NPP team, bringing field insights and translating unmet medical needs into meaningful, evidence-based narratives.
With a Tech-Forward mindset, the IFMA leverages digital tools, NGCE approaches, AI-supported insights and automated dashboards—freeing capacity to focus on high-impact activities such as negotiation leadership, institutional influence, strategic planning and stakeholder collaboration.

3. Institutional Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision makers: hospital CEOs, CFOs, Pharmacy Directors, procurement teams and Regional Health Authorities.
- Understand regional budget dynamics, cost-containment strategies and rational drug-use policies that impact access.
- Act as Takeda’s primary interface with institutional stakeholders across País Vasco, Aragón, Cantabria and La Rioja.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership & One Takeda Execution
- Lead the Key Account Team (KAMs, FLMs, MSLs, Access, Tenders) ensuring coordinated execution across functions.
- Promote cross-franchise information exchange and best-practice sharing.
- Collaborate with brand, medical, access, marketing and CE/NGCE teams to deliver integrated and compliant access strategies.
5. Operational Excellence & Digital Proficiency
- Conduct agile and systematic territory analysis using digital platforms, data dashboards and AI-generated insights.
- Integrate digital tools to improve forecasting, scenario modelling and decision making.
