Job Function
As a Service Development Manager at Takeda UK, you will be part of a small team of three colleagues, playing a pivotal role in collaborating with external stakeholders to create or enhance ADHD services across the UK. Your responsibilities will include developing new services within the ecosystem and continuously improving existing ones. Leveraging your expertise, you will work with relevant stakeholders to devise compliant strategies for reducing waiting times for ADHD diagnosis and care, increasing patient throughput, and ultimately improving patient experiences and outcomes.
Overall Accountability
• To work collaboratively with external stakeholders to increase capacity and improve ADHD services with key milestones to demonstrate patient uplift.
• To be accountable for the delivery of the SDM strategy, aligned to the medical strategy. This will include the tactical implementation of appropriate national projects.
• To build a solid understanding of the eco-system ADHD priorities, referral pathways, funding streams and structures to enable appropriate plans to be built.
• To create, monitor and review project plan(s) and associated objectives/tactics, proactively making adjustments in line with changing circumstances to ensure that all objectives are achieved.
• To work collaboratively with other Takeda field teams and Head Office functions to integrate working practices and differentiate Takeda effectively to leverage maximum value for the company and the NHS.
• To possess a thorough understanding of the provisions of the APBI Code of Practice, remain compliant with Takeda SOPs and policies throughout duration of employment and complete training within required deadlines, to ensure that the Company's image and reputation is never jeopardised by irresponsible or unethical conduct
Skills and qualifications
• Demonstrate high level of project planning skills – with evidence of being able to deliver high level complex projects in a clear process
• Experience managing customer relationships across the full spectrum of customer types, including population decision makers.
• Degree in scientific or businessrelated subject or equivalent qualification such as a nursing.
• Driving licence
• Exceptional NHS knowledge
• Exceptional Project management skills with collaborative working
• Sound understanding of UK pharmaceutical industry and demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of NHS policies, structures, funding streams and processes relevant to promoted products
