The Rare Business Unit is embarking on an exciting journey to evolve our go-to market model and further strengthen our digital content and capabilities to provide first-class customer experience via digital channels. With the launch of the new and improved Rare Disease Hub (RDH) website, we have an opportunity to build strong campaigns that can truly offer great customer content, experience, and differentiate our portfolio.
As our Digital Marketing Manager – Rare BU you will be accountable for leading all aspects of the Rare Disease Hub and ensuring it achieves the business objectives of offering high-quality customer education and differentiating our proposition via digital-only campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-lead Rare Disease Hub (RDH) cross-functional team along with Medical Advisor – Rare to establish RDH as a desirable hub of high-quality valuable educational resource for HCPS working in TAs where Takeda have marketed medicines.
Co-create 12-18 months digital engagement plan including customer segmentation, campaign journeys, content and channel plan.
Work with Medical Advisor - Rare and marketing manager(s) to develop and identify content for the campaign and collaborate with Omnichannel lead to ensure all aspects of the campaign journey and website build are aligned to the strategic plan.
Build and deliver a media plan to drive traffic to RDH in line with the campaign objectives.
Collaborate with external HCPs for gaining insights on topics of unmet need and content creation for Rare Genetics and Hemophilia, and regularly seek feedback to evolve plans.
Build and measure robust KPI framework to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaigns and utility of RDH as a central channel of engagement.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree within marketing, business studies or similar
5-8+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry or from consultancy working with pharma clients within the UK
Experience as a marketing manager or similar with commercial business acumen
Understanding of the use and optimization of digital marketing channels and platforms in a B2B context, particularly social media, email, Webex, analytical tools, etc.
Excellent communication and influencing skills to lead a collaborative approach across various functions and stakeholder groups.
Demonstrated ability to utilize a mix of channels to communicate key messages effectively and consistently with customers to drive behavior change benefiting patients.
