Job Description

Tax Solutions is a team of experienced tax professionals delivering high-quality tax compliance and reporting for Takeda entities across the world.

Given the critical nature of tax compliance, accuracy and timeliness are essential to safeguard the company’s financial integrity and reputation.

As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end tax compliance processes, with a strong focus on VAT across multiple jurisdictions.

You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulations, supporting global tax initiatives, and driving process improvements.

This role reports directly to the Indirect Tax Manager.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Manage VAT compliance for assigned entities (end-to-end)
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings
  • Review and validate financial data used for reporting
  • Support implementation of tax law changes
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Global Tax, IT) and service providers
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in tax, accounting, or finance (min. 2 years)
  • Solid knowledge of VAT / indirect taxes
  • Good understanding of accounting processes (AR / GL / reconciliations)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a global environment
  • Fluent English

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in shared services / multinational environment
  • Exposure to process improvement (Lean / Kaizen)
  • Experience with automation tools (RPA, workflow tools)

Base Salary Range:

zł117,600.00 - zł161,700.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
