Job Description
Financial Analyst with Italian – Łódź, Poland
This role is responsible for handling key financial accounting activities such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, supporting cost accounting, and contributing to budgeting processes. Based in Łódź, Poland, the position helps maintain accurate financial data and ensures compliance with reporting standards, supporting Takeda’s overall goals.

As a Financial Analyst with Italian, you will be responsible for:
Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting at the Group level, including reconciliation, analysis, and presentation of results to senior executives
Ensuring AR & GL reconciliations are performed regularly and minimizing unreconciled items
Making sure reporting is completed accurately and on time
Performing month-end activities and controls as required
Performing SOX controls
Preparing aging and bad debt analysis
Supporting internal and external audits
Supporting the Collections team for the Italian market
Core elements related to this role:
SAP knowledge
MS Office skills (mainly Outlook and Excel)
Positive and flexible approach, willing to work hands-on to ensure tasks are completed on time
Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively at all levels
Focus on continuous improvement and openness to change
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong relationship-building skills with TBS teams, external customers, Customer Service, Finance Business Partners, and other finance colleagues across Europe
Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to quality
Ability to challenge the status quo and build trust
Improvement-oriented mindset (Lean/Kaizen is a plus)
Interest or experience in automation and digital tools (ERP, workflow tools, robotics, AI)
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Supporting and driving process improvements without compromising control or reporting quality
Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly detect and solve issues in data
Required Qualifications:
Degree in finance or accounting preferred
Proficiency in English, written and spoken
Italian language skills required
3–5 years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in a shared services environment within a large multinational organization
Strong Excel skills and good overall MS Office knowledge
