What makes you stand out?

At Takeda Finland we are looking for a new Commercial Lead GI who has a strategic mindset and ability to lead cross functional teams without authority.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Drive understanding of patient journeys to identify opportunities for Takeda's portfolio through an integrated brand plan, considering market conditions and customer needs.

  • Emphasize customer focus by dedicating 20% of time to customer interaction, prioritizing patients in business decisions.

  • Lead Core Team to align product/Therapeutic Area strategy, creating mutually beneficial outcomes with patient priorities.

  • Foster collaboration and co-creation in local, Nordic and broader international forums to reduce duplication and promote a unified approach.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strategic Brand Planning: Develop integrated brand plans by understanding patient journeys and market conditions to enhance Takeda’s portfolio.

  • High Customer Focus: Spend significant time with customers to ensure customer and patient-centric business decisions.

  • Sales Support: Create sales materials for Key Account Managers (KAMs) and support them in their customer facing activities.

  • Core Team Leadership: Guide Core Team decisions to align with the product/therapeutic area strategy, prioritizing patient outcomes.

  • Nordic Collaboration: Drive collaborative initiatives across Nordic regions and functions to foster a unified approach and reduce effort duplication.

  • Data Utilization: Analyse market data to inform strategic direction in line with demand and dynamics.

  • Financial Management: Oversee key financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and patient flow management.

  • Compliance: Support the BU Director in risk management and ensure compliance with legal and strategic requirements.

  • Operational Execution: Manage P2P activities, including purchase orders and supplier payments, while ensuring compliance with sales and marketing strategies.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree within marketing, life science, applied sciences or similar

  • 5+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry within marketing, commercial, digital, service design, patient access, or medical

  • Understanding of Finnish health care environment

  • Experience of account management as well as co-creating initiatives with health care stakeholders

  • Knowledge of immunological diseases and product launches is a plus

  • Fluent written & spoken Finnish and English

  • Proven evidence of strong communication skills
