POSITION:  Senior Manager, Compensation Product Lead - Workday

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation Product Lead - Workday with the following duties: partner with all stakeholders including Center of Expertise, HR Business Partners and Data Digital and Technology leaders to understand the business strategy and architect solutions based on best practices; proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and user experience in Workday Compensation as well as in other strategic compensation business applications; explore new features and releases and raise awareness with business partners to identify implementation targets; configure features and demonstrate for design review; provide ongoing system support for the compensation modules, including business process configuration, ad-hoc reporting, EIB imports, vendor integration collaboration with DD&T, feature release testing, process documentation, system audits and issue resolution; work with stakeholders to define requirements, implementation schedules, lead design decisions, and create training and communications for modifications or new features; conduct complex analysis and design for system modifications; engage with leadership to provide project and status updates, escalate issues, and drive them to resolution; coach and manage others to ensure business solutions align to best practice and an understanding of Takeda’s policies and structure; collaborate within and across teams to advise and resolve problems. Up to 20% domestic travel required for team collaboration meetings, project workshops, and conferences. Up to 75% remote work allowed.

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Digital Sciences, or related field, plus 8 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience must include: hands-on configuration and administration of compensation plans, including bonus and merit cycles, grade and step progression, eligibility rules, and integration with payroll; completion of Workday Pro training and certification; ability to apply best practices in live environments; demonstrated application of knowledge in real-time scenarios such as testing or deployment; leading or contributing to HRIS/Workday implementation or enhancement projects; developing project plans, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking deliverables; development and customization of advanced Workday reports including calculated fields, custom reports, and dashboards; knowledge of report security and distribution; configuration, testing, and optimization of business processes for various HR functions (e.g., hire, onboarding, compensation changes); experience with condition rules, approvals, and notifications; setup and maintenance of security groups, domain and business process security policies; troubleshooting access issues and implementing role-based access controls.

Full time. $213,824 - $311,624 per year.
