Job Description

About Us
We are building a futureready, digitalfirst organization that evolves with technology and LeanAgile ways of working. Our mission is to deliver value through strong collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

The Innovation Capability Solutions Center (ICS) within IT plays a critical role in enabling scalable Agile practices and supporting strategic digital initiatives across the enterprise.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support Agile teams operating within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, contributing to an enterprise‑level ERP SAP initiative.

This role blends tactical execution at team level with strategic oversight across interconnected teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, SOX) where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

•  Support the delivery of digital solutions within GxP and SOX compliant environments, ensuring Agile practices are applied in alignment with regulatory and enterprise standards.

•  Act as Senior Scrum Master within a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART), supporting team and ART level execution to ensure alignment with business priorities.

•  Facilitate and support the execution of ART level activities, contributing to alignment, coordination, and predictable delivery across interconnected teams.

•  Coordinate and support collaboration across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders involved in the initiative.

•  Support the definition, alignment, and execution of Program Increment (PI) objectives, ensuring teams understand business priorities and dependencies.

•  Facilitate effective collaboration between business, product management, architecture, engineering, and security stakeholders.

•  Organize and facilitate key SAFe ceremonies in collaboration with the RTE, such as:

  • PI Planning
  • ART Syncs
  • System Demos
  • Inspect & Adapt events

•  Proactively identify, track, and help resolve cross team risks, dependencies, and impediments, escalating when appropriate.

•  Ensure transparency and effective communication on team and ART delivery progress, risks, and improvement opportunities.

•  Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and Lean Agile thinking across teams.

•  Provide regular insights and updates to leadership on delivery progress, risks, and systemic improvement areas, without acting as a delivery owner.

•  Support alignment between technical teams, product management, and external partners operating within the ART.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • 5–8+ years of experience working in Agile environments, with strong experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles and practices.
  • Experience working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and work effectively in complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Background in Life Sciences or Social Sciences.
  • Experience in agile environments and Scrum.

Nice to have:

High-level understanding of ERP SAP concepts and objectives, enabling effective collaboration and facilitation within an ERP SAP initiative, without requiring deep technical expertise.
