Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Sr. PRH & ELM Analyst is responsible for the delivery of essential transactional HR processes and solutions within Takeda.  This position creates a positive, productive experience for employees, managers and HR Business Partners who seek assistance on a broad range of matters pertaining to HR Transactions. Acts in the management and governance of HR data (personal and functional) in corporate systems, focusing on integrity, confidentiality, and compliance. Supports critical processes in the employee lifecycle — onboarding, movements, job changes, and offboarding — with an end-to-end vision, a continuous improvement mindset, and a results-oriented approach.

The position will interface with processes across multiple countries, ensuring standardization, adherence to policies, and consistent execution across locations, providing support services with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness. 

This position combines hands-on operational expertise with project management skills acting as a key player for projects within the People Solutions team, coordinating projects for the region, supporting process improvements, new tools, and other activities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage general process of the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, development, job changes, retention, and offboarding process

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, though multiple channels, ensuring all communications are handled with the highest level of completeness, confidentiality, and empathy

  • Provides exceptional customer service, properly aligning expectations and fulfilling commitments, so that employee feels supported, engaged, and that his request has been completed to its end

  • Reviews and complete HR transactions received via multiple channels such as Employee portal self-service, cases initiated in Service Now or any other HR or local system

  • Ensure processes, projects, new solutions, and employee support are provided in compliance with internal policies, labor regulations, and Takeda values

  • Maintain a proper governance of HR Knowledge articles within SNOW, identifying the need for document generation, assuring HR knowledge content is updated and available to employees, as well as to feed new AI agents and tools

  • Actively contributes to identifying and delivering improved processes and procedures to increase agility, employee satisfaction, driving performance effectiveness and continuous improvement

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data within HR systems

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for HR processes and service delivery

  • Performs other HR Operations related duties and assignments required as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager

Process Excellence and Initiatives Management

This position is pivotal to process improvement bringing our People Solutions operations ‘current state’ to ‘future state’ by working on projects of system implementation, system enhancement, digital transformation and data management.

  • Process analysis of operations, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities to automate HR processes, partnering with local/global HR and HR DDT to optimize employee lifecycle experience and improve self-service capabilities

  • Act as a coordinator for the different initiatives/ projects in the Region, ensuring timeline, deliverables and resource allocations are met

  • Track progress, dependencies and risks; escalating issues and blockers when necessary

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • 3 - 5 years of HR experience particularly in process improvement and implementation

  • Proven experience with project management

  • Workday or other HRIS experience

  • Knowledge of HR systems (Workday, SNOW) and digital solutions

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 package

  • Knowledge in ServiceNow is desired

  • Payroll integration is also a plus

  • Fluency in English language
