Job Description

The Data Analytics team harnesses our business data into actionable insights and analytics, and works with cross-functional business partners to streamline and improve our business processes, using Microsoft Power Platform and other tools.

Job Description:

  • Lead Intelligent Automation improvements at the site as assigned, including development with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Develop business intelligence reporting as assigned
  • Participate in weekly Data Analytics team meeting for guidance and support

Internship Development Opportunities:

  • Opportunities to engage with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Gain experience with data modeling, querying, analysis, visualization
  • Develop understanding of Change management / leading change in a complex organization
  • Application of DMAIC processes

Job Requirements:

  • This position will be Hybrid and require 2-3 days in the Brooklyn Park, MN office per week.
  • Pursuing degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related disciplines
  • Experience working with data preferred, including querying, modeling, analysis, visualization
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python preferred
  • Experience with Power BI or alternative BI platform preferred
  • Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
  • Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
  • Highly reliable and a strong team player
  • Flexible with an attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Internship Eligibility

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates(June 2nd- August 22nd)or(June 16th -August 29th)
    • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
  • Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$21.00 - $46.00

The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:

  • Paid sick time

  • Civic Duty paid time off

  • Participation at company volunteer events 

  • Participation at company sponsored special events

  • Access to on-site fitness center (where available)

  • Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
