About the role:

As a Senior Data Integrator, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and executing advanced data integration strategies that are critical to achieving our organization's key business objectives. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional who will lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable integration solutions. In this senior position, you will be tasked with ensuring that data integration frameworks are optimized for efficiency and designed to facilitate seamless data compatibility and accessibility throughout the enterprise.

Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling business partners and leaders to leverage data essential for strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You will provide mentorship to mid and junior team members, oversee the development of complex data pipelines, and ensure the highest standards of data quality and integrity. Your strategic vision and technical leadership will contribute significantly to the organization's data-driven culture and its ability to respond to evolving business challenges.

In this role, you will be a part of the PDT Digital Insights and Analytics team. This team drives business insights through IT data analytics techniques such as pattern recognition, AI/ML, and data modelling, to analyse and interpret the organization’s data with the purpose of drawing conclusions about information and trends. This role will work closely with the Data Integration Junior. This role will align to the Data & Analytics chapter of the ICC.

This position will initially report to the Data Engineering Tech Lead for strategic direction.

How you will contribute:

• Develop methods to support the collection, analysis, and validation of multiple data sources, that are translated into one uniform view
• Utilize cloud platforms and tools (i.e., IICS and DMS) to collect data from multiple sources and integrate findings into the data hub
• Lead the standardization, customization and ad hoc data analysis and develop the mechanisms to ingest, analyse, validate, normalize and clean data
• Design and develop ETL using IICS and various AWS data tools to support existing and future deployments
• Utilizes code optimization to streamline and refine code, leading to a minimization of system latency, a reduction of memory consumption, and an improvement of execution time
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of data integration solutions to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and reliability
• Implement processes and systems to drive data reconciliation and monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
• Look for opportunities to build in automation and streamline processes to increase business productions
• Document all implemented integration processes, create user manuals or system guides, and keep a record of all changes made within the systems
• Define data requirements, gather and mine large scale of structured and unstructured data, and validate data by running various tools in the Big Data environment
• Collaborate directly with teammates and business partners to build technical solutions that solve problems, are reusable, scalable, fast, and maintainable through large datasets, both clean and un-clean

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• At least 5 - 7 years of design and development experience in ELT/ETL tools with upto 3 years of experience in IICS, SQL, data integration, data modeling, data warehousing, or related field
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex data integration solutions, leveraging enterprise, solution, platform, and data architecture standards
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data and system requirements for using dimensional data modeling and development and optimization of ETL pipelines
• Demonstrated understanding and experience using:
  • Informatica IICS and related tools such as PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration, and Cloud Application Integration
  • Data storage systems (i.e., AWS S3, AWS RDS, Databricks)
  • Enterprise workload automation solutions (e.g., Tidal)
  • AWS integration services (i.e., DMS)
  • DevOps and continuous integration
  • SQL, Pyspark, Python
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Life Sciences sector is preferred
• Proven ability to design and build processes that comply with data-related regulations and standards
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling and the ability to lead multifunctional teams and drive strategic partnerships
• Advanced problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills; passionate about solving complex business problems
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior team members and leading project teams
• Experience with project management methodologies and leading end-to-end project lifecycles.
