What You Will Do
As a Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of your London territory, leading cross‑functional collaboration to shape and execute a high‑impact account plan.
You will:
- Lead a cross‑functional team to deliver your territory account plan and exceed performance goals.
- Grow revenue and market share, tailoring resources to meet the specific needs of your customers.
- Become a true ecosystem expert, building deep knowledge of disease areas, products, competitors, and local NHS dynamics.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals at every level, selecting and flexing the right channels to maximise engagement.
- Act as a responsible budget holder, making sound, ethical decisions that ultimately benefit patients.
- Uphold the highest standards of compliance, following ABPI guidelines and Takeda policies without compromise.
Omnichannel Excellence
You’ll bring strong technical agility and confidence using a mix of face‑to‑face, virtual, and digital platforms to deliver best‑in‑class engagements.
This includes:
- Using analytics to tailor the right channel mix for each customer.
- Hosting educational meetings and expertly managing virtual platforms.
- Maintaining high‑quality CRM inputs and understanding data‑privacy standards.
Your Strategic Impact
This role demands a strategic mindset and a drive for results. You will:
- Build and deliver a robust, insight‑led business plan aligned to brand and national sales strategy.
- Use local market insights to identify opportunities that advance patient care and business outcomes.
- Apply strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and persistence to overcome challenges.
Collaboration & Leadership
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, creating genuine partnerships and inspiring collaboration across the organisation.
Expect to:
- Work proactively with brand teams and healthcare professionals.
- Adapt communication style using strong emotional intelligence.
- Demonstrate resilience, self‑awareness, and openness to coaching.
- Contribute to an inclusive, diverse, and supportive team culture.
What You Bring
- High capability in omnichannel engagement.
- Exceptional business planning and account management skills.
- Experience managing ethical customer relationships across varied NHS stakeholders.
- Strong project‑planning abilities, with evidence of leading complex projects end‑to‑end.
- Deep knowledge of the evolving NHS environment, including market access and local health economy processes.
- ABPI qualification, full driving licence, and right to work in the UK or Ireland.
- A degree, equivalent qualification, or medical background.
