Job Description
About the role:
The Associate Director for Patient Marketing HAE oversees the lifecycle of a product or product line, from gathering user requirements to developing enhancements and strategies to maximize product appeal. You will ensure that products meet market demands and align with Takeda's mission to bring better health to people and a brighter future to the world. You will report to the HAE Brand Strategy Lead.
How you will contribute:
Develop branded patient messaging strategy and pull through development of creative assets, including video, which grows patient awareness of Takeda product
Develop promotional strategies and implement impactful marketing tactics that address the unmet needs of patients and sustain launch success through adoption and long-term adherence of product
Partner with Portfolio Marketing, Medical Affairs and Managed Markets to develop marketing strategies that encourage the use of preventive therapy in HAE
Takeda lead with external agencies to provide organization and management of projects, and processes to ensure that programs are delivered on time, with high quality and appropriate linkages with other Takeda programs/systems
Partner with HCP and Digital marketing counterparts to ensure that branded promotions across channels and audiences work synergistically to support brand goals
Responsible for Patient CRM strategy, content creation and overall execution inclusive of ongoing maintenance and performance oversight.
Collaboratively drive relevant and actionable patient insights that identify the emergent needs of HAE patients, fostering alignment with Patient Engagement, and Patient Services counterparts, contributing to market research processes during kick-off meetings, survey/discussion guide reviews, fieldwork observation and presentations
Lead patient-focused brand planning, proposing programs and tactics to support the strategy and championing that plan through engagement with cross-functional partners
Ensure all patient resources and programming are in alignment with Takeda Compliance, Legal and Regulatory requirements
Manage annual promotional budget for all patient materials
Represent patient and brand communication needs as part of the promotional review and approval process
Must have demonstrated experience analyzing and deriving business insights from qualitative and quantitative market research data
Experience managing creative agencies and budgets preferred
Broadcast and video creation experience preferred
Experience and knowledge promoting in rare and ultra-rare therapeutic categories strongly preferred
Lead Consumer campaign development, consult on channel strategy, execution and measurement of campaigns and ensure performance integrity and measurability of digital marketing ecosystem.
You will have line of sight across multiple teams that interact with HAE patients, including Patient Engagement, Advocacy and Patient Services. You are expected to assemble and lead these cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of brand patient promotions, as well as identify the resources needed for success
This role’s primary cross-functional collaborators in Patient Engagement, Advocacy and Patient Services are at an Associate Director level or higher
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
6+ years' experience with increasing responsibilities in marketing, sales or related function, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience in marketing
Consumer marketing experience leading campaign development through promotional asset execution and driving impactful customer experiences
MBA and/or client services experience at a creative agency experience preferred
Experience managing promotions through broadcast/TV and/or social video a plus
~20% travel to attend meetings, conferences and occasional field rides

$153,600.00 - $241,340.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
