Job Description
About the role:
As the Global Operational Excellence Lead - Plasma Network, you will act as a coach and facilitator for the CI squad, aligning their efforts with the broader strategic goals of the Plasma Operational Unit (Plasma OpU) manufacturing network and driving high-value strategic projects for the Operational Unit. You will provide strategic guidance and leadership, while working closely with the OpU leadership team to prioritize and drive high-impact projects, share best practices, and ensure consistency in operational practices across the network.
How You Will Contribute
Strategic Leadership: Lead CI squad efforts focusing on value stream level and implement strategic CI initiatives to drive significant business impact within the Plasma Manufacturing network
Operational Expertise: Provide advanced operational excellence (OE) insights, deploying AOS (Agile Operating System) methodologies to solve complex issues hands-on and guide the execution of value stream level projects
Coaching & Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to OpU leaders across the Plasma Manufacturing Network, fostering a culture of continuous improvement while facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Change Agent: Guide teams through complex problem-solving processes, leveraging Lean methodologies to resolve challenges with impactful results.
Global Influence: Share best practices across sites, train Green and Black Belt professionals, and play a critical role in delivering our transformation roadmap.
Value Delivery: Drive cost optimization and ensure consistency in the implementation of CI strategies to support the OpU in reaching their Value Creation targets
What You Bring to Takeda
Educational Excellence: MS degree in a technical discipline is required; advanced certifications such as AOS Master or Black Belt are essential, with Master Black Belt being desirable.
Experience That Matters: Over 10 years in bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing and 5+ years in manufacturing, quality, or technical services roles.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence senior leaders and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
Project Management Prowess: Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and achieving measurable business results.
Cultural Agility: Enthusiasm for operating in a multicultural environment with the flexibility to travel up to 60% globally.
Innovative Problem-Solving: Exceptional strategic thinking, teaching, and coaching capabilities, underpinned by expertise in Lean and process improvement methodologies.
