Job Description
About the role
As a Digital Product Manager at Takeda, you will lead a product initiative, setting a unified strategic vision and ensuring alignment between strategic goals and product development. You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, guiding go-to-market strategy, and ensuring that product delivery continuously meets customer needs and business demands across our Manufacturing & Quality network. You will ensure that day-to-day delivery of the product portfolio aligns with the long-term strategic vision.
How you will contribute
Customer Relationship Management: Communicate product alignment with business priorities, address critical needs with stakeholders, and onboard customers to new/existing products.
Product Strategy & Delivery: Develop a product roadmap, define and prioritize features, drive product improvements, and use feedback and analytics for continuous improvement.
Monitoring and Reporting: Build and prioritize the backlog, collaborate with cross-functional teams, track success using OKRs and analytics, and manage risks.
Product Management Leadership: Own the product vision and strategy, ensure alignment with business objectives, ensure compliance and financial oversight, and lead talent development.
Agile Event Participation: Lead and participate in key Agile events, holding teams accountable for meeting commitments and delivering quality product increments.
What you bring to Takeda
Educational Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Technical/Natural Science) or equivalent
Professional Experience: Extensive experience in Digital, Data, and Technology and a proven record of managing strategic product development from MVP to market scale.
Customer Insight: Skilled at identifying and translating customer needs into a long-term product roadmap aligned with business goals.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., pharmaceutical, healthcare) to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.
Strategic & Financial Proficiency: Ability to define the product’s strategic vision, manage financial performance, and leverage data-driven insights.
Cross-Functional Influence: Strong leadership across departments, executive stakeholder engagement, and alignment of the product with broader corporate goals.
Customer-Centricity & Innovation: Develop customer success strategies and integrate emerging technologies to maintain competitiveness.
Leadership Behaviors: Demonstrate strategic thinking, inspire others, focus on priorities, and elevate organizational capabilities.
