Job Description
The Key Account Specialist in Neuroscience will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts in the neuroscience area. This role involves leveraging strategic insights to educate and support healthcare professionals, developing account-level strategies, and ensuring the effective demonstration of the clinical value of our neuroscience portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including healthcare professionals, treatment centers, and other stakeholders in the neuroscience field. This involves regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
• Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory or territories. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Strategic Planning: Create and implement account-level strategies and tactics to achieve sales and performance objectives. This includes setting goals, identifying opportunities, and developing tactics.
• Education and Support: Provide education and resources to healthcare professionals to demonstrate the clinical value of our neuroscience portfolio and support patient care transitions.
• Market Analysis: Analyze and apply qualitative and quantitative market data to assess business opportunities and priorities.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing exceptional service and support. This involves understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory or territories. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• New Account Acquisition: Identify and develop new key accounts to expand the company's customer base. This involves prospecting, networking, and building relationships with potential customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.
• Reporting: Weekly reporting, analyzing and following-up on activities in the CRM system.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Skills and qualifications:
• Education: min. bachelor's degree
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in psychiatry field.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans. Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant IT tools.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
