Job Description

OBJECTIVES

  • Build awareness among NHF regional branches regarding the advantages of Takeda products to ensure patient access in Poland.

  • Develop market access and channel strategies to drive business growth and implement solutions that enable patients to access therapies.

ACCOUTABILITIES

Pricing & Tender Strategy

  • Identify and implement market access, pricing and reimbursement policies for the Takeda’s products.

  • Analyze and translate technical pricing and reimbursement information into actionable recommendations and strategic tactics.

  • Participate in strategic discussions and communication with key external stakeholders, including government organizations.

Account Management & Trade

  • Maintain overall accountability for managed care, group provider organizations (GPO), government/military accounts, wholesale accounts, chain stores, retail accounts, and institutional sales.

Patient & Market Access

  • Develop strategies to ensure patient access to the Takeda’s products, considering pricing, reimbursement, and regulatory frameworks.

Digital & AI Integration

  • Integrate AI outputs into compliant workflows and document repositories.

  • Leverage AI to optimize operational processes, strengthen decision-making, and support robust strategy development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with regional healthcare stakeholders, including NHF branches and thought leaders.

  • Analyze hospital contracting processes, financial resources, and regional cash flow.

  • Develop bidding strategies aligned with reimbursement frameworks.

  • Ensure continuity of drug supply and conduct payment audits.

  • Monitor payer-provider contracts and ensure compliance with data submissions and updates.

  • Track legislative changes impacting therapy availability.

  • Monitor procurement activities and public tenders nationwide.

  • Communicate therapeutic and economic value of Takeda products to stakeholders and support awareness programs.

  • Forecast healthcare trends and develop value-based partnership strategies.

  • Foster strong internal collaboration across cross-functional teams within therapeutic areas.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access or a related field.

  • Proven expertise in stakeholder management and business needs assessment.

  • Demonstrated success as a Field Market Access Manager.

  • Relevant academic background (law, economics, or business management).

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the reimbursement environment in Poland.

  • In-depth knowledge of market access strategies, pricing, and reimbursement policies.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and technical issues related to market access.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate complex issues persuasively to key stakeholders.

  • Strong relationship-building and long-term partnership capabilities.

  • Ownership of processes and ability to advise on technical matters.

  • Proficiency in MS 365 and related tools.

  • Excellent English language skills.

  • Strategic thinking, analytical ability, and execution of tactical plans.

  • Resilience and ability to deliver results under pressure.

  • Cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse environments.

  • Knowledge of competitive landscape and effective competitive strategies.

  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
