Introduction of Recruitment Department

Post Transplant CMV & MPN Group is part of the Rare Diseases Therapeutic Area Marketing in Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. This group engages in brand marketing activities for “Livtencity® Tablets 200 mg,” an anti-cytomegalovirus chemotherapeutic agent launched in August 2024, and “Agrylin Capsules 0.5mg,” a treatment for essential thrombocythemia. With Livtencity being a newly launched product and a globally strategic brand, the team works closely with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Deeply understand the market environment, customers, products, and portfolio, identify, structure, and analyze business challenges, and formulate product strategies aimed at resolving these challenges in collaboration with the brand team and related departments.

  • Take full responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating parts of the execution plan based on the product strategy.

  • Work together with researchers to gain an accurate understanding of the market environment, verify hypotheses for strategic planning, and evaluate measures through primary and secondary research to validate and improve strategies.

  • Propose strategies and execution plans to internal and external stakeholders, acquire their approval and support, and ensure smooth implementation.

  • Communicate effectively with sales and other departments, as well as manage external medical experts to ensure thorough execution of the strategy.

  • Support maximizing product value globally by collaborating with the global team and other countries beyond Japan.

Requirements

< Educational background >

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

< Practical experience >

  • Over 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing

  • Experience presenting budget proposals to management during budget reviews

  • Experience in marketing and launching new products is preferred

< Skills and Qualifications >

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills

  • Excellent interpersonal negotiation skills, communication skills, and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through with accountability

  • Outstanding analytical, facilitation, and project management skills

  • A self-starter with creative and forward-thinking capabilities

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, as well as external environments

  • To develop the skills to create materials worthy of submission to top management, such as the President, through budget reviews and brand plan creation.

  • Too have experience in adaptive additions and communication with global teams.

  • Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year

  • Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45

  • Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
